Dad gets ready to help Mom in the delivery room.
---------------------------------

NEW YORK, Feb. 1 - About a month earlier than expected, babies Loucas Constantine Corcoran Tzanis and Alexander Michael Corcoran Tzanis made their first appearance into the world at  5:46 and 5:47 this morning, respectively.

Mom Jackie found out she was actually in labor on January 31 when she went to her doctor's office for a routine exam. After many hours of labor, Mom and Dad moved on to the OR, where the twins were born by c-section.

Loucas, the older of the brothers, weighed in at 3 lbs. 14.6 oz., and Alex came in about a minute later at a heftier 5 lbs. 6 oz. The twins have been spending some time in the newborn ICU to build up their strength and put some weight on, but both mother and babies are doing well.

According to those close to the event, the babies are reported to be "the most beautiful little boys in the world." Photos confirming the accuracy of this report will be posted to this Web site when they become available.
